Over Christmas and New Years 2007/2008, I had the chance to take an amazing trip with my brother to Australia to visit my cousin. Needless to say, it was awesome. We started out in Sydney, traveled up the coast to Byron Bay, Surfers Paradise, and our final and the most beautiful part of our trip was sailing around Whitsunday islands. Many miles were traveled, beers drank, pictures taken, and fun to be had.

We spent Christmas and New Years at my cousins house in Surfers Paradise and every day tropical birds would come to her backyard to feed.

Our sailing trip around the Whitsunday islands consisted of snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef, visiting White Haven beach and the whitest sand I've ever seen, and sleeping on the deck, watching the most stars I have ever seen at night.
