For three weekends in October and November 2006 crewed one of my fellow Wahoos films he created at
USC. The movie, Anthem, is the juxtaposition of the death of the last survivors of a nuclear
war and the space explorers thousands of years later who find their remains.
The first scene was shot on a sound stage at USC where we had about 30 actors and about 10 crew members including a
stunt actor from Pirates of the Caribbean.
The other scene was shot in a desert north of LA. We arrived at the desert at dawn and worked until sunset filming our two actors who also had roles in Steven Spielburg's movie Munich. It was a much
smaller production but just as intense and our actors standing against the stark landscape of the desert was truly amazing.
