During the San Diego fall in 2007, I had a few unique opportunities to experience the American military first hand. I attended the Miramar Air Show to watch the Air Force's Thunderbirds, the Stealth Fighter,
Unmanned Ariel Vehicles, the Harrier, tanks, helicopters, and a slew of other military toys. It was awesome in the truest sense of the word.

In addition to the Air Show I had the opportunity to ride a U.S. military aircraft carrier while at sea. Landing and taking off of the carrier
was an unforgettable experience, but watching flight ops takes the cake. The pilots were flying F-18 Hornets all day and I saw dozens of launchings and
landings of the aircraft.
